word of mouth specialist
I recently received a business card from a person working for www.thebestof.co.uk
The individual’s job title, according to the card was “word of mouth specialist”. Interestingly the Company also lays claim to having a trademark on this phrase.
Intrigued to find out more about their product offering I subscribed to their email newsletter.
Imagine my surprise when I received an automated response thanking me for handing them my email address however they have not yet produced an email newsletter and dont know when they will!
I thought, mmm, I’ll email them and see what’s going on. Well that was weeks ago, and still no response.
Do you think this is the sort of “word of mouth” they were looking to generate?
