Nightmare! This Home Business Brought Us To Tears!

I have to get some things off my chest. Things that have been bothering me and I am going to try real hard to watch my language.

I was not in a very good place throughout this past summer, and even worse recently. I was in a home business that was folding fast through the summer and I had spent thousands on it, sure enough, they folded the home business. I did not know where I was going to turn. As it was, about 6 years ago, I had lost everything I had ever owned and had to start over from scratch, so I know all about having things and losing them.

My husband had a pretty good job with a big cell phone company. He was a company rep and was very good with the customers. So good, he won a trip to Mexico. In May of this year, a “friend” of ours was planning to open up a restaurant here in town. My husband spent months of his spare time to help him get the place ready to open. He was building, wiring, cleaning, you name it, he did it. I helped with building a website, getting historical pictures for the place, menus, talking with beer and food vendors, researching prices, and advertising ideas. My father in law was helping with a POS system for the cash register and more, including drilling out the gas holes in the grill. August rolls around and “our friend” offered my husband a management position at his restaurant (knowing that my husband did not have restaurant experience, but did own a recording studio a few years ago), he would also in charge of the entertainment. He grappled with the question of whether he should leave his steady job of 6 years, that had benefits. I had to support him no matter what. “Our friend” offered him $500 per week which was more that he was making, plus he would save about $100 in gas each week because it was just down the street. He took the job. At this same time, I was just starting my journey with Team Beach Body and I had to learn a lot, but was making great strides in my business. I have never learned so much, so quickly. Things were looking up. Dave and I were talking about putting money away for his daughter for college to study kinesiology and get into sports medicine. September comes, the restaurant opens, my band plays opening weekend, my step daughter is hired to clean, the place is packed and making money.

Two weeks later, without warning, “our friend” calls Dave on a Friday morning and says he is terminated and so is his daughter. No explanation, not till 3 days later. He said he couldn’t afford him and that “this girl” is doing Daves job for free. With no hope of getting back into his old job for 6 months, and jobs are scarce here unless you are a tradesman. Here we are, worried about how we are going to feed our family. Because of the mess “our friend” left us with, it put me in the middle of stuff with my band. They wanted to keep playing at the place, I of course will not step foot in there, so I lost my source of income from my band, not to mention, making music was my passion my whole life.

Here it is October 30th. We just moved into a smaller , but much nicer place. I just cashed 3 checks that I got from my home business, and I hear that “our friend” at the restaurant is not doing so good, only 2 or 3 people left working for him, and not many customers either.

Here is where Team Beachbody brought me to tears. I had finally opened up to my coaches, Blake and Angie, and told them what had been happening to us and why I haven’t been working the business as much the past couple of weeks. They knew that I have been working my business and learning everything I could, but now, they were very concerned about us. They got to work right away with me, one on one, to get us going fast. They also knew of my husbands great salesmanship with his former cell phone company. They took time out of their very busy schedule to put together a plan that both he and I can do together, he on sales, and myself on business building. I have never had anyone, in any home business, treat us this way. When you look at Blakes earnings (which I will show you below, lol, he gave me permission don’t worry) and see that his checks are thousands, yes thousands per week, you know that he and Angie know what they are doing, and you also know that they are very busy too. But they took time out for me and my family! Mind you, the things they are teaching us, is what I will teach my new coaches, and so on and so forth. They teach like this, like the old Chinese proverb: Give a person a fish and you will feed them for a day: Teach them to fish and you feed them for a lifetime. The moment Dave and I started working together on this business this past Sunday, our lives have been taking a dramatic turn.

When I look back at the nightmare that happened to us I see:

Weeks of depression, tears, worry, loathing of the upcoming holidays, no happy outlook on the future, no thoughts that anything good would ever come our way, no thoughts of ever wanting to make music again, and I could go on and on.

When I look at this past week, complete opposite! With Blake and Angie’s guidance, we are taking action and creating our OWN INCOME, our OWN DESTINY. Another big lesson learned, when you care about people that are looking for a way out of a financial disaster and give them a few minutes of your time and give them the right tools on how to make good things happen, nothing but good comes for you, your personal coaches, and any new coaches looking to get started.

When I got off the phone on Sunday with Angie, I just totally broke down and cried, relief!!!! Monday morning I got right to work and had an awesome business day! My husband and I also actually worked out together with the 10 Minute Trainer (which is one of our awesome workout videos that we sell). It is so much fun, and now we get to work our home business together!

Guess what? Don’t mind my tongue, lol, but SCREW those people (”our friend”) that hurt our family so badly, and SCREW the lack of jobs around here, and SCREW the so called economic situation. WE ARE DOING GREAT! The bad economic situation? Well, more people are buying and using our products BECAUSE they want to save the drive to the gym, not have to buy gym memberships, not have to buy those yucky pre-made meals like Jenny Craig, not have to drive to a meeting. More people are joining our home business because they are sick of paying hundreds and thousands of dollars on home businesses that offer no support or their products are just not products that really impact anyones lifestyle. More people are joining us because we are so affordable and they love that we spend $70 million per year to get customers for our independent beach body coaches, for free. And there are a whole lot more people joining because of our team leaders Blake and Angie who care about people like you and me who are struggling. Anyway, Blake and Angie, I don’t know what my family and I would have done if it weren’t for your direction, caring, and the swift kick start you gave us. Thank you for teaching us to fish, and for being the great leaders you are. We are so blessed to be a part of the team and everything you teach us, WILL be passed on to help others be able to have no more financial worries in their lives, feel great about themselves, lose weight and perhaps win some daily money, or better yet, be a monthly $10,000 winner, or better yet, win the BIG $250,000.
